Morning visit Ross
Island the former Adminstrative centre and resident of the British
governor. The island was known as the Paris of the east, however
the island was destroyed owing to an earth quake, somehow the
resident, The Windsor Castle has survived the vagries of time.
This is an ideal destination for nature lovers with sylvan
surrounding, deers, peacock, exotic birds Thereafter proceed to
Chiriya Tapu- the Bird Island, set amidst lush green mangroves,
long stretches of beautiful beaches with a breathtaking view of
the sun set. Return to Port Blair for overnight in hotel. |

Early morning an
adventurous drive to Rangat to the Jarawa Forest Reserves. An
ideal eco-friendly territory providing nature at its pristine
best, our drive involves crisscrossing numerous creeks, dense
tropical rain forests inhabited by the Jorawa ethnic tribes.
Check into hotel. Late evening visit Curtert Bay to watch the
sea turtles basking on the beach in moonlight. Overnight in

drive to Mayabunder situated in the northern stretch of Middle
Andamans. The island has a long stretch of beautiful beach,
excellent scenic beauty and is famous for its mesmerizing sunrise
and sunset, at leisure on Karamatang Beach. Overnight in hotel. |

A very early start
to cover the distance of 240 kms- 11 hours drive to Port Blair
through dense tropical jungle and rain forests through the
Jorawa & Great Andamanese Reserves. The Great Andamanese were
once the largest population of 10,000 natives in 1789 AD.
Being exposed to highly communicable diseases, along with
their drinking habits, they have become an endangered ethnic
tribe and their population decreased to 625 in 1901 and by
1969 it had fallen to just 19 members. The Administration in
Andamans is trying their utmost to increase their population
by encouraging birth rates and at present their population
stands to 44 natives. Being an aquatic race their food habit
includes octopus, molluses taken from turban shell, scorpion
shell, various types of crabs. Of late they have learned to
cultivate vegetables and established poultry farms. On arrival
Port Blair check into hotel for overnight.
